Pensioners in critical condition
TWO pensioners are in a critical condition following a car crash yesterday.
The man and woman, both in their 70s, suffered serious injuries in the accident, which happened at around 4pm in the Amersham Road near Gerrards Cross.
Both people, who have not been named but are believed to be from Ruislip, were taken to the JR2 hospital in Oxford.
A VW Golf and a green Vauxhall Astra collided at the junction with Lower Road near South Park on the westbound carriageway, towards Gerrards Cross.
