Ten arrested in police operation
POLICE officers from Ealing, Hillingdon, and Harrow joined forces to carry out a large car checking operation.
Officers were stationed at the Polish War Memorial junction of the A40, stopping vehicles which had been picked up by automatic number plate reading (ANPR) cameras.
Ten people were arrested for crimes including drink driving, possession of class A drugs, and handling stolen goods during yesterday's seven hour operation.
It was led by Chief Inspector Louis Smith who is in charge of intelligence at Harrow Police.
